Check/ATM Cards

Visa® Check card

More secure than cash, more convenient than checks and accepted at millions of locations worldwide!  Your National Penn check card* reduces the need to keep cash on hand while providing added security against loss or theft.

Use it to pay for purchases at any location that accepts Visa® debit cards including mail order, telephone or online purchases. No more writing checks or waiting for approval.  Just a quick swipe and you’re on your way!

ATM Card

Use it where point of sale (pin-based purchases) are accepted, or at Visa®/Plus® ATM locations worldwide and enjoy the security of an ATM card while using it to make balance inquiries, withdrawals, deposits**, and transfers across checking, statement savings, moneymarket and select line of credit accounts.  A simple monthly fee of $1 per account applies.***

Verified By VISA®

Adding an extra layer of security to your online shopping, Verified by Visa helps prevent unauthorized use before it happens.  Every time your Visa debit card is presented to make an online purchase at a participating merchant, your personal password is required.  That means no one else can use your card at participating Verified by Visa merchants without this special authorization.  No special software is required and your enrolled Visa card number will be automatically recognized at checkout.  It’s a great way to bank with confidence!

If you choose not to activate your card, you may shop as usual. However, participating merchants will require activation after you use their site several times.
