PINTEREST: Phishing Email Campaign
National Penn Bank is aware of public reports of an active phishing attack via email messages claiming to be from Pinterest. These phishing emails state that a user’s password should be changed and include a link to a malicious website. These messages may contain the subject line "Your password on Pinterest Successfully changed!”. The messages ask users to click on a link to receive their new password. The link points to a malicious Web site.
Anyone receiving one of these potentially malicious emails should immediately delete the email without clicking any of the links or downloading file attachments.
